Click the heart icon next to a node number to favorite or unfavorite it. The most recently favorited node becomes your default test node.

1 Mbps equals 0.125 MB/s. A 100 Mbps broadband plan typically delivers around 12.5 MB/s download speed.

5. Why is my test result faster than my actual broadband speed?
The platform may have triggered a broadband speed boost. If your connection qualifies, it may temporarily run at higher speeds.

6. Why does my test result differ from actual download speed?
This depends on the test node location, target server bandwidth, and concurrent users.

7. What does "download package test" mean? Why does a download prompt appear?
These nodes test speed by downloading large application installers. If you have IDM or similar tools, they may intercept the download. Disable them or switch to another node.

8. What is the China Mobile direct node?
This is an official China Mobile test node on the mobile network, including Beijing and Hebei endpoints.

9. What is the Cloudflare test node?
Cloudflare is an international network provider. This node is primarily for overseas access. Domestic test speeds may be lower.

10. What do All Nodes, Domestic Nodes, and Custom Node mean?
All Nodes and Domestic Nodes randomly list Speedtest.net servers from different regions. Custom Node lets you enter a specific Speedtest.net node ID.

11. Why do some test nodes fail? Is it related to HTTPS?
The main site uses HTTPS, but some third-party test nodes do not support HTTPS. Please switch to another node.
